Really easy to fit to my '04 Avensis and a great way of adding MP3 playback whilst retaining original stereo and steering wheel controls.

Works well with my 2 GB SD card, not had as much success with memory sticks or my old hard disk based MP3 player.

It uses the multi-disc player input to the stereo to work which means it integrates nicely with the stereo and can pick up where it left off.

Just make sure you follow the instructions as you have to rename the directories where you store your music to CD01 etc. Seller was very helpful when I had problems getting it working initially.

I bought this router from Amazon after being ripped off by an unscrupulous seller on e-bay.....

This is a fantastic bit of kit. With the latest firmware (58.04.78) it has many of the features of the next model up (7270) including:

Answering machine (a bit clunky but better than paying for 1571 now BT have introduced some stealth charges).
Av UPNP media server (only works for music).
USB NAS (a bit slow but works, I get about 600k a second).
USB printer sharing (even got this working with my Ubuntu netbook).
VoIP on phone line (works very well).
Wireless distribution (I have connected my Xbox via wireless bridge).

This book is great; it really helps with understanding Ubuntu. I wish I would have read it first before I installed Ubuntu as it really helps with advice on partition size etc.

Using this book and the Ubuntu forums will really help you to overcome any problems you may have.

I must say I am really enjoying Ubuntu; it is really great to delve into a system and get your head under the bonnet! It reminds me of the good old days of DOS and Windows 3.1 except this is alot more powerful.

My only slight criticism is that some of that chapters cover things that most of us find inituitive such as word processing packages. However I appreciate there is a need for these… Read more
