5.0 out of 5 stars Bones Rocks!, 21 July 2006
Bones really is very good, I must admit I watched it for the first time, quite simply because there was nothing better on, and I was very sceptical thinking it would be a cheap CSI rip-off.

However, I was pleasantly suprised, like many say, it can be difficult to sum up, but I think it breaks down like this;

- The character background and development of Lost

- The science of CSI

- The sexual tension of The X Files (back in the day when it was Mulder and Scully, will they/wont they?)

- The emotion and dramatic twists of 24 (not always, but the last episode has it all) and;

thats how long it took me to decide to buy this album!
i went into HMV last night looking for an album by Fuel and spent a good 10 minutes looking. After not finding it, i realised that what i was listening to was in fact extremely good, so despite having never heard of the band before, and having still only heard about 3 tracks, i thougt 'why not?' and bought it. iv had it on non-stop since, its fantastic!!
First day of my life is brilliant, somewhere between lostprophets and A, and Time to Burn is also fantastic, with clear unfluences from Bon Jovi.
Whilst the mix of apparent influences throughout the album seems quite diverse, it comes off brilliantly and sounds… Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars Not all it seems, 12 Mar 2004
after hearing take me out, i was always gonna buy this album, when i did, i was disappointed.
i was told by a friend it takes a few listens to get into, iv tried about 10 times and still aint the biggest fan of it. there are a few catchytunes (jacqueline, and dark of the matinee) but other than that this album is nothing special, and is quite a let-down considering the brilliance of 'take-me-out'
if, despite this, you are still interested, i'd at least wait to hear a bit more from the album before buying it.
