2.0 out of 5 stars Lacking in substance, 21 July 2012
It's not very often that I write a review about a book, but I finished this one about 20 minutes ago, and I must say I wouldn't advise anyone else to read it. The plot was very thin indeed, meandering in random directions with no consequences and or any thread running through it. The writing style was casual at best, to be honest it was quite unrefined. I bought it purposely for a casual holiday read, but even quick reads should have something to them, and this really doesn't. I would say to go find something else to read.

Everyone has their own way of revising. Some use flow diagrams or minds maps, some prefer revision cards, and some really learn from working through a revision guide. If you, like me learn best from this, this bok is fantastic.

Used properly, this book leads you into the exam properly prepared.

I have the CGP books for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, French… Read more

The basic story is about the ice melting (a relevant topic, also introducing children to the concept of global warming melting the polar ice caps) and all the animals having to flee the area.

I thought the storyline was equally is good as the prequel, however, when the story began to get a bit sparse in parts, they just stuck in an irrelevant scene of scratch the squirrel, and although i like these scenes, i appreciate others may find them quite… Read more
