From start to finish, this book gives an honest and very humorous account of Spike's many adventures. Having grown up in a small welsh mining village I can relate to the book and many of the characters it contains, but this is a book for any rugby fan. He speaks of a bygone age where rugby was amateur and rivalries run deep, and I am sure his stories would be familiar to rugby clubs the world over, (well some of them anyway) but what is different is the Spikey Watkins Treatment. A great book, written by @ictevagelist, a very well regarded leader within digital learning, whose following on twitter speaks for itself! The text is accessible, with lots of helpful advice for classroom teachers to integrate ICT meaningfully within teaching and learning, but also it is very clearly written to help schools develop both provision and practice in ICT. Glad I bought it!
