I brought this for my sister and she loves it, so much that she has several all different colours in her collection.
Hear Me When the Sun Goes Down (Forged Bloodlines) by Lisa Olsen
I really try hard not to repeat myself when reviewing books, because I think that simple platitudes are not what people want to see in a book review.

So, on that note... In my opinion this is the best out of the Forged Bloodlines series yet. It does show Anya in a more reluctantly compliant mood as she tries to manoevre around Jakob and his seemingly overprotective and outdated attitudes.

The book is also a bit darker than the others and more confrontational in a way as everyone gears up for what appears to be a bit of a vamp civil rebellion against The Order.

I have read every single Odd Thomas novel (not the graphic ones) and I will admit to having huge reservations about the filming of the first novel. The opening line of the book is the one of very few novels that I have read over the years that has stuck with me, and it goes "My name is Odd Thomas and I see dead people. The difference is I do something about it" (or words to that effect).

The film picks up on Odd's very humble attitude towards his gift and his compulsion to do something about justice for the dead no matter the cost very well. His little mannerisms, his ticks and turns of phrase as described in the book are very well portrayed by the young man playing… Read more
