I've had this for a few weeks and seems to work quite well. The lid isn't hard to lift or is it a struggle to fit the extender ring (as some others have complained about). The main source of frustration is the timer and temperature settings.

I had a JML cooker before with the manual dial where could set the temperature and leave it there since for most cooking you are at a temperature of between 180-220 degrees. However with this oven, because it is digital, you need to always start at zero and then hold the + button down until it gets to the required temperature (each and every time!). Same with the time. I rarely use the quick buttons since they rarely match the times and… Read more

I bought this mainly for business presentations and projecting my laptop screen and have to say I am very pleased with the performance of this product. The unit is very light and compact and the brightness is more than enough even in a fairly bright room. When I was researching units I got confused about the difference between native resolution and input resolution. Basically I thought that if the native resolution was 800x600 then I would have to change my laptop resolution to match it. This is NOT the case. I have left my laptop resolution at 1600 x 1200 and there's no problem in making out the writing.

I nearly returned this when I first got it because I couldn't seem to focus… Read more

1.0 out of 5 stars WARNING!!! PLEASE READ, 25 Jan 2007
Although This drive is excellent when it is working, if it fails your data is not recoverable. After 6 months my drive just failed to power up and I have been on with Technical Support numerous times (you have to call the Netherlands in Europe!). Although they were very helpful and sent me another power supply, they don't repair drives and they have NO way of getting the data off it. No not even they can recover the data even though it is their product! So, basically all your data is lost. I thought when I bought this unit I could at the very least remove the actual harddrive and plug into my pc. BE aware, use this ONLY as a backup and make sure the data is stored somewhere else as well.
