Acoustic Classics ~ Richard Thompson
Acoustic Classics ~ Richard Thompson
At least two of the tracks on this album would have benefited from a female vocalist. The 1st and last track being the case in point. This is an excellent album showing Richards' skill on acoustic guitar.

Only Robinson can do it. Banks at his brilliant best, Dirty Dick Burgess comes in to assist as well, or does he.

I first heard this duo in the 70's, at a local folk club and bought this album on vinyl. It was great then and still is today. I believe Cilla is a member of the famous Scottish singing "Fisher Family", indeed Archie Fisher wrote the final song on the album "The Final Trawl" which is a stand out track on the album.
