I so enjoyed the first three books of the series and I couldn’t wait for this one to come out. I loved the story, it was so exciting but also tragic as Phillipa has to fight for love. Then there were some humorous bits with other love affairs going on as well, it kept me glued to the page. I liked the way the author described the costumes as she really brought them out with the colors and styles. I admired Phillipa’s loyalty and love for Hector even though she loved another man. I loved the way she fought to do her art and her courage to speak up for herself. Then there is the Battle of Waterloo which had such a twist. I have read many of these authors multiple times and was stoked when I saw this collection. I pre-ordered the set and can't wait to get started. Treat yourself!! It'll be a wonderful summer read.
