This review applies to VHS and DVD versions. The VHS version is presented in 4.3 (old style TV) whereas DVD in 16.9 original cinema version. The films themselves are great and very much of their time. Personally I prefer Daleks Invasion Earth as the story is a lot more fast paced and interesting. However both films are wonderfully colourful and kitch. A great buy for Dr Who fans 10/0
This has to be one of the most involved and powerful films I have ever seen. We all assume Sean Connery to be 007 but here we get an amazing glimse into his acting talents. Made in the days before political correctness we have the touchy of peodophile crime. Connery the old fashioned type policeman (think Regan and Gene Hunt) who after 20 years copes with the many crimes and crime scenes he has witnessed in this period. Ian Brennan gives a comendable performance as the suspect Baxter. The main question of the film is - Is Connery no better than Brennan. Are both bullies in their own way?
Watch and make you own opinion. Very thought provoking. 10/10
fantastic - excellent sound and picture. Transfers great to 16.9 if you have widescreen tv. Standout episode is 'Attack of the Alligators'. Bargain at under twenty pounds. Would have been nice to include to two films made but you cant have it all.
