I pre-ordered this book and having looked over it a few times and tried a few of the recipies i would give it 5 stars. I feel that marking this book down due to it having american weights and measures is a little silly, any conversion table on the internet will convert them for you. Also some of the ingredients in the book use american names, again not too hard to find out what the equivalent ingredients are.
if you can get over the fact that it is an american book written by an american chef there are some really simple but really effective recipies which are a pleasure to cook.
This book is markedly different from thomas keller's other books, but well worth the money.
