This is a great book about Alice and Megan who are best friends and live next door to each other. When one of them has to move away, they are both really upset and make a plan.
It's sweet, funny and realistic - I'd highly recommend it to anyone who likes Jacqueline Wilson.
There are 6 books in the series and this is the first.
Amy Green Teen Agony Queen: Boy Trouble by Sarah Webb
This is a great book. It really keeps you turning the pages and I can't wait to read the next one. It's funny and clever and I loved Clover, Amy's aunt. I'd loooove an aunt like that - she's so cool.
Amy is a lovely character and really good at solving problems. And some of her own problems were very realistic too - like the family stuff and having to mind her little brother and sis. I have to do that too!
I'd recommend it for any reader of about 10 plus - if they like Jacquie Wilson or Cathy Cassidy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great read, 11 Feb 2008
I'm a big fan of Irish women writers, and I love Martina - she's brilliant. Funny, wry, witty, rude (in a good way), I always look forward to her new books and this one is no exception.
Three friends rent a house together and find out all kinds of things about each others lives and families. There are lots of different things going on in the book - a plane crash and post traumatic stress disorder (i think that's right), family arguements, a flirtation with a moody artist - it's fun all the way.
Highly recommended for a holiday read.
