Having not been exercising much owing to a bad knee and a very dodgy wrist that left me unable to perform plank-based exercises for very long, I had a scout about for something that was not too focussed on jumping about but was still aerobic. I love Jillian Michaels' workouts but some of the plank work is still too tough on my wrist so when I saw this reviewed by Sharnie, I ordered it immediately because, reading her reviews, we have similar taste in workouts.

For longer than I care to remember, I have been having the Sebastian Laminates Colorshine treatment after my semi-permanent colour treatment at my hairdresser. I am pretty loyal to my hairdresser but live over 200 miles away from the salon now, so it is a bit of a mission to visit every 6 weeks! I do visit other salons in the interim, but none have the Sebastian Cellophanes colours, as they are now called. Cellophanes imbue your hair with a richness, lustre and sheen that is remarkable. I really miss them when I am not able to visit my preferred hairdresser. So I was very excited when I saw that I could buy the product and do it myself in the interim.

I will update the review once I have completed the full cycle of workouts for the requisite time, but just wanted to say that this is absolutely the bee's knees of lower body workouts. How does she keep doing it? As my other reviews reveal, I am a JM devotee but for one reason only: her workouts do the job, they are back to basics and just honest hard work, nothing more. This is no different, though focused on the lower body.
The format is similar to her other offerings: you get 3 workouts, Levels 1 to 3, the idea being that you start with level 1, moving to the next level after about a week or so and so on. She recommends working out 5 to 6 days a week. From past experience, I would… Read more
