I bought this guide over a year ago to help me through my year abroad working as an au pair and although the book certainly won't save you from crazy moments, you can definately rely on the useful facts and suggestions made in the book.

Bon courage to all you future au pairs!

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting quick read, 15 May 2011
I bought this book as part of my preparation plan for embarking on my new career as a TEFL teacher in South Korea, the book is simple, genuine and funny. I would recommend this to anyone thinking of going to teach in South Korea as it has some useful references on Korean food, places to visit and things to do. I read this book in one day, as I said the book is simple.
