Purchased this after getting The Crew as a freebie and was not disappointed . Love how the author has given us even more of an insight into the characters this time round .I really enjoyed how they come across as more than just thugs and how they start to acknowledge the consequences of their actions , almost like watching them grow up. I couldn't help but fall for the cheeky chappie personas and I was willing them to go straight . Was also interesting how the main character Billy Evans progresses further into violence and crime in his search for a bigger buzz/thrill only to pay the ultimate price for his actions. I downloaded this book because it was free and i thought it might be worth a look. Being female and not hugely into football I wasn't sure it would be my cup of tea but I was instantly carried away with the story. I couldn't stop reading as i had to know what the fate of the characters would be.
Was swept along with a rollercoaster of emotions and my feelings towards the main characters were constantly changing through out. The author had a way of making you care about the fate of these "hooligans" by letting us in their heads to view their true thoughts and emotions . Loved it so much i instantly purchased the sequel "Top Dog"

Loved every second of this LA adventure. Perfect ,glamour filled fun and escapism. A brilliant sequel to Randumb. Has left me impatiently awaiting the next instalment. I need to know what happens with Mark and Elle, I need to know if he avoids the clutches of orgy Joe and the nutter, will he be able to pay his rent or end up homeless and more importantly when will he get his big break?
Purchased this as a nosey Robbie Williams fan, hoping for some celebrity gossip , by the time i finished reading i was a Mark Hayes fan, cheering him on in pursuit of his American dream. A mighty read for anyone who has ever dreamed of a more glamorous, exciting life.
