As someone who suffers from Selective Mutism I can say that this book captures the condition perfectly. I felt like I was reading about myself. I could completely connect to Oakley and I know exactly what it is like to be imprisoned by silence. I could relate to many of her emotions and thoughts. This book blew me away and I am so incredibly glad I read it. It is one of the best books that I have read in a long while. Thank you Natasha Preston for writing such an amazing book. I absolutely recommend this book a must-read for everyone.
