The Man in the Snow (John Shakespeare Elizabethan &hellip by Rory Clements
5.0 out of 5 stars another convoluted drama, 29 April 2014
A naked and very dead 'Venetian Ethiop', a jealous Frenchman, a once-mighty earl, Sir Robert Cecil and a pregnant serving girl. At the heart of the tale of the battle between England and Spain is the other conflict, between intelligencer John Shakespeare and interrogator Topcliffe. After many twists and turns, Shakespeare unmasks the murderer and understands the plotting that led to his involvement. Another fascinating trip into the dark side of Elizabethan England

Another excellent 'Pevsner' guide. The usual format: introductory history & overview, area surveys, perambulations. With so many other books on Glasgow's architecture I'm not sure why I hadn't bought this before.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great underwear, 20 Dec 2012
A great product, combining sensual clinging fabric with comfortable styling. One of my favourite pairs of underwear, which I recommend to anyone looking for something to make you look and feel good.
