Since Friends left our screens, quickly followed by Fraiser, Scrubs has arrived and showed that our friends from across the pond aren't running out of ideas just yet. I didn't get into Scrubs straight away but I've quickly become an avid follower of it and believe it could have the potential to be even better than Friends and Fraiser. It's a bit like M*A*S*H with a hint of Malcom in the Middle and the added addition of the quick fire gags of Simpson quality. Add to this a superb cast of young and old, great writing and directing and you have the makings of a hilarious sitcom.

After 'Animals' Gervais said he would be doing a new stand-up show early in the new year, so it was fortunate that I stumbled across a ticket hotline website and saw that tickets were on sale. I immediately bought some and wasnt surprised to see that they sold out pretty much everywhere within a couple of days. Since the success of The Office, Gervais has been acknowledged as a brilliant British comedian but instead of being type casted as a David Brent character he's broken away from the phenomenal success of The Office and instead is making a name for himself as an ccomplished stand up comedian. Some critics have claimed that the clock has run down on '24' as it no longer has the originality of the first two seasons. This is true, many other programmes have borrowed the idea of split screen and such like but '24' is still in a class of it's own when it comes to unmissable t.v.
This is the third longest day in Jack's life and anyone thinking that Jack may have become accustomed to working in such conditions is proved wrong by the time the end credits roll on the first episode. This time round the plot is slow to get started but when it does it's firing on all cyclinders- gone are such wayward storylines involving cougars and kidnapping and back are action-packed plots that have… Read more
