Don Helms Your Cheatin Heart - Steel Guitar Song B&hellip by Don Helms
If your'e a fan of Hank Williams, play lap steel guitar and want to learn how Don Helms played his steel on some of Hanks popular songs, this book is as good a place to start as any. All you need is 6 strings. The book is tabbed out nice and clearly and comes with a CD so you can listen to the licks and play along. It dosen't get any better than this.

It has everything one needs to gain a very good foundation in astrology,… Read more

The material presented here is not too difficult to play, though not for complete beginners of guitar. There is a bit of everything, some open D, open G, drop D and regular tuning with songs that are good examples of music in that style. For anyone not familiar with fingerpicking country or delta blues or open D Open/ G tunings, this book can be a good place to start.
