Well i just wish i'd listened to this band yesteryear in there prime but sometimes things just avoid you. I bought this cos they were talked of as better than Nirvana by quite alot of people i knew so i gave this a whirl to see what the main hits were like. The answer was OUTSTANDING and i have since backlogged and filed up my Pixies catalogue. I just need some B-sides. My thoughts are that some great songs aren't on this best of cd which i usually find with my favourite bands. You buy the big hits but find some brilliant underplayed songs. My favourite album is Doolittle but it isn't head and shoulders above everything else by the Pixies such is rhe quality from this band. They now sit… Read more
Misunderstood - The Brian Molko Story by Chloe Govan

Bought this for my grandson who bleeds placebo and especially Brian Molko. I ended up reading it myself and have also found myself singing some of Placebo's songs!. Now to the book. I feel this is a brief glossary of Brian and Placebo's rise to fame. There's probably not alot of information that fans of Brian will already know but it is nice for a Placebo or Brian collector. Brian was born in Brussels and moved around alot as a child and teenager which is ironic as he would go on to do alot of travelling in later years as a singer in a great rock band. omg! i love this album soooooooo much. i've downloaded it to my mp3 and i keep playing it over. akon has such a wonderful unique voice and some of the songs are great. i especially liked 1) right now(na na na)2) beautiful.... i saw you in da club, ya gettin down gud i wanna get with youuuuuuuuuuuuu! love it! ALSO LIKED TRACKS 3)keep you much longer 4)troublemaker... actually sod it i like em all! i luv ne yo, usher, taio cruz, tyrese, jahair,chris brown all those guys but this is special!
