This was recommended to me by a good friend after I recommended Ian Fleming's Bond novels to her..which incidently I recommend to anyone who has already read and enjoyed the gun seller. The Gun Seller is full of dry, sarcastic humour...it's a good laugh and I loved it. Anyone who likes A Bit Of Fry And Laurie should makes this top of their essential reading!
Thomas Lang is fantastic, his reluctance to be anything more than your average British male is what, in my opinion, makes him what he is. I suppose that it's different for everybody but that's one of the great things about the book for me, as well as the incredible plot!

I adore montmorency, all of the montmorency books, everyone can relate to at least one of the characters. I have recommended this book to my friends and family, and to you too! Awaiting with baited breath for the next montmorency adventure.
