Akula is a big fish (shark in Russian). Akula is a big submarine (110 m). But Invicta Akula is just huge.
When I opened the box the size was a (positive) surprise although I had already recognized it being 52 mm. I have some big Invictas (Bolt, Sea Rover etc) but this one is bigger or just simply wider. This is a real high quality Bulova watch. Especially for the price it's offered in Amazon. Although the one I got had a minor flaw with hand alignment.
