Beautifully written young adult debut novel, heartbreaking, honest, moving, very much a page turner. More thoughts to follow.

3.0 out of 5 stars A slice of life, 3 July 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
With a great premise for a story, this novel sees various people stuck in a traffic jam on the M25, and takes a snapshot of their lives, as they are stationary, unable to leave, going nowhere and drawn to ponder their lives for a moment, meeting strangers, some amicably and some with tensions. I wanted to like this a lot, and I did like some of it. I wasn’t as keen on some of the characterisation though; it felt a bit like there were certain types being portrayed. More thoughts to follow.
