I first bought the kindle keyboard, and got used to having 'categories' - and lots of clunky processing.
Then I wanted something that would let me use medical-type textbooks better so I got the kindle 8.9 HD - for the colour and the larger screen.For those aspects, it functions well. I also love being able to buy books whatever time of night or day, whatever the weather, download samples, etc.

Great plot and characters. Writing is pithy and measured. Still a few Americanism, but not too obvious that they detract from overall writing or storyline.
