Having listened to the entire back catalogue of Cocteau Twins material I was sceptical about how good this would be...BUT it is beautiful. This is indeed music for the creative. I listened to this album while painting with watercolours and simply felt the sounds wash over me. I cannot recommend this album highly enough...it will take you to another place, another world.....a world were music lifts the senses and paints our pictures. Make sure you buy it before it becomes discontinued !!

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply Wonderful !!, 24 Aug 2012
This lovely compact pocket book is really wonderful. I have read it, re-read it and then read some more..its that good and will leave the reader feeling at peace and at one with the world. You may even feel like writing down your own thoughts and poems afterwards.
Its compact size means its ideally suited for the rucksack, infact I will be taking it with me on my next hike on the hills to read and bask in the suns rays while the calming and beautifully flowing words of Elaine McKenna wash away my troubles. Highly recommended to all those in need of a gentle lift in life !!

The point missing from so many travel writing books is what we gain from the people we meet along the way. Travel indeed is not just for the purpose of travel and to see different lands but the people one connects with along the… Read more
