Unexpected twists right 'till the end of this book. One or two things you work-out and will the characters to realise, along with several 'wow - I didn't see that coming' moments. A good read.

Living in the South-West of France meant that this book really came alive for me. So many areas that we know and are able to imagine all the characters and how they lived. Also have greater respect and understanding of the dreadful times which were endured and the strength of the people.

A great and gripping read. Now recommending the Citadel to all my friends.
Recovering from a Position of Ignorance by John Wallis
Have not had time to read this book yet, but look forward to it. More personal journey books are needed for those experiencing the same problems. Well done.
