The only thing I don't like about this cd is that I bought it in a record shop for a higher price than the one offered here. The songs are funky and guaranteed to cheer you up (except perhaps "Grizabella the glamour cat" and "Memory".) This is a must for anyone who loves cats or music (even better if you are nuts about both). If you haven't seen the show, see it. Then buy the video version and the book by T.S.Eliot, "Old Possum's book of Practical Cats" - not an advert for amazon, this is required reading for your full appreciation of this masterpiece. Before I read this I'd only read Deric's books about his life now with lots of cute cats and only the occasional sad bit, but this just shows the extent of the power he has with words. We've all lost relatives and some of them may have spent a while in hospital, but this just takes the cake. Deric Longden writes about his life with Diana as it happened and the most powerful parts are those when he shows us how his mind was working at the worst moments of their life together.
