I bought this as a present for my mother. She wanted a radio with tape recording features, and she'd been looking for one with this facility for some time.
The radio arrived really promptly and she's been full of praise for it ever since. It has good sound quality and does exactly what it says on the tin.

My first box was a Goodmans GDB2, which worked fine at first, but soon became temperamental and gave up the ghost completely after a year or so. My mother had two of these boxes follow the same pattern to oblivion.

My second box was a Pacific from ASDA. When I turned it on, there was the same menu, and the box responded to the old Goodmans remote. In other words, it was a Goodmans clone, and although it was less temperatmental, it gave up the ghost after about twelve months.

So now to the Digihome. Nice clear picture, works fine, tunes itself and finds all channels. There's Now and Next, and the option for a 7 day EPG of sorts, (except the TV picture disappears when… Read more

I have recently bought a Canon i865 and really like it. I would strongly recommend it, although you would have to decide whether you want the i865 or the slightly cheaper i560.
The i560 has four colours: cyan magenta and yellow, plus black. The black ink (for printing good quality text) does not mix with the inks used for printing photographs. Therefore, the i560 does not use the black cartridge for printing photos at all, and instead uses a composite black, made by mixing the cyan magenta and yellow together. For most photos, you probably wouldn't notice the difference, but you do tend to get a slightly blue cast to black areas in the print. Also, the i560 isn't really recommended… Read more
