2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, 11 May 2013
I have been sewing for 30+ years but never learnt how to adapt patterns to make them fit better. I hoped this book would help but for me it doesn`t go into enough detail. I knew that I wouldn`t use the sewing blocks at the end of the book so I have returned it. I have now got "The Perfect Fit - A Practical Guide to Adjusting Patterns for a Professional Finish" and it is much better
The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat by Edward Kelsey Moore

Best book I have read for ages - funny but also moving in parts. The supernatural element is a brilliant twist
The Dressmaker's Technique Bible: A Complete Guide&hellip by Lorna Knight
3.0 out of 5 stars disappointing, 11 May 2013
I was rather disappointed with this - I had bought it because I wanted to know how to adapt commercial patterns and the information given was inadequate. I already knew everything else that is in the book so I have returned it
