Lego continue to celebrate their 10th anniversary for Star Wars Lego with set 8038, the massive Battle of Endor set. This set has a whopping 12 figures and features the Endor bunker, a Rothana Heavy Engineering / Kuat Drive Yards All Terrain Scout Transport, 2 Aratech 74-Z speeder bikes, an Ewok glider and an Ewok catapult.
The speeder bikes are similar in construction to the one with 2008's 7676 Republic Attack Gunship and feature positionable flight controls and outrigger vectrals.
The bikes are 13 cm long, 3 cm wide and 3 cm tall.

Lego continue their Clone Wars releases in 2009 with set 8037: Anakin's Y-Wing Starfighter which is a great model of the Koensayr Manufacturing BTL-B Y-Wing Starfighter first seen in the Clone Wars episode 'Shadow Of Malevolence'.
The fighter features an opening front cockpit, angling control panel in main cockpit, rear gunner station, postionable upper cannons, droid compartment for R2-D2, opening aft compartment to store lightsabres and a missile launcher in the lower hull.
The missiles is one of the rubber tipped missiles with launcher - the same type as found in 2008's 7675 AT-TE Walker. However, through an extension mechanism the firing control comes out in the droid… Read more

Lego continue their Clone Wars releases in 2009 with set 8036: Separatist Shuttle.
The shuttle itself is a nice replica of a Haor Chall Engineering Sheathipede class transport shuttle and features an opening front hatch for the cockpit and fold-up landing legs. There is also a nice mechanism in the side that, with the turn of an axle, opens the rear doors and allows access to the inside where there is a sliding seat platform with room for one figure.
The best thing about the kit is really the five figures that come with it. There are 2 standard B1 Battle Droids, both armed with black blaster rifles and an OOM series Pilot Droid to fly the ship.
For the first time we also have… Read more
