Knight was aware that this was balderdash and that source, Joseph Gorman, was a Walter Mitty wannabe. Gorman of course claimed to be Walter Sickert's grandchild - by then he was pushing 40 but had to wait until a few close figures including Walter had died. He later changed his tale to being Sickert's child, and the grandchild of Prince Eddy, took to referring to himself as HRH Joseph Gorman and claimed to go sailing regularly with the Queen of England.
Not a great source, the credibility was not helped when he retracted the whole Ripper hoax and Sickert - royal - lineage. He later un-retracted? or whatever, you had to invent words with Gorman about(!) - part of his retraction and… Read more

OK so at any more than 200 pages this was going to be way to long. As painful as having a tooth, no, an abscessed tooth extracted, without the benefit of ana anaestetic nearly as powerful as this penny dreadful. Falling dutiful into line behind a long lsit of Da Vinci code wannabes,the author is even less clued up than Dan Brown. Aside from teh innumerable pseudo-historical gaffes , Kuzneski thinks that Hogwarts is in England and that the Finns are - Norwegian? Does he not even have an editor or a proof reader? Also, after primary two/ second grade, if your idea of creating suspense is to end a chapter "Little did s/he know that..." THREE separate times.......! .. Tired from the beginning,… Read more
