this is a later recording of Jordan's classic tune recorded in the UK with the Chris Barber Band and featuring wonderful trumpet-playing by Barber, beautiful, deeply-felt singing by Jordan and the most sublime alto solo. Of all the pleasure listening to Louis I've had throughout the years, this track, first heard on Humphrey Littleton's show many, many years ago, is far and away my favourite, probably in my top ten of all time.

not sure which album the other 2 reviews here are from but neither one fits this recording. The album contains 16 tracks, I'm assuming from relatively early in Sun Ra's career (I'm no expert on his music) and the sound certainly isn't muddy at all. A very enjoyable album left me wanting to hear more

hypnotic, elegant and sublime. Not sure how authentic the interpretations are as the album had a very 20th century feel to it at times but that is irrelevant, the music is fantastic.
