The Little Book of Mindfulness by Tiddy Rowan
3.0 out of 5 stars Just plain weird..., 27 Mar 2014

A mixture of proverbs, exercises and, oddly, statistics related to mindfulness as a positive health issue; this book is an odd one.

I'm all for anything that encourages people to slow their mind and quit panicking about life. But I think this Little Book has jumped its own shark, style wise. I say this because, while I like the idea of a single thought on each page - as a reliever to those who don't feel they have the time to sit and read a more comprehensive book -- filling one such page with the advice 'Get yourself a smartphone app to help you with your mindfulness' is... well, a bit lazy, really.

There's lots to like about the proverbs side of this Little Book, but… Read more

I was expecting more from these. Normally loose-tea Earl grey is to die for - yet these weren't all that flavoursome. The first one I made was weak, so for the second, I steeped the bag longer. Only this time it lacked any of the zingy citrus that makes Earl Grey thirst-quenching, and ended up more like English Breakfast

Sure, they look good (and I've had some great cups of tea from these new, roomier pyramid style bags), but these were all style and no substance. Not least when you consider how expensive they are.

Based on price, and if you're looking to go beyond your average Earl grey teabag, I'd strongly recommend going the loose tea route instead. It'll be… Read more
Almo Nature Rouge Dry with Chicken 750 g by ALMO NATURE UK
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Well, if the gusto with which my cat attacks these (and clocks the packet as soon as it comes out), I'd say these are a feline hit.

Yes, okay, they're pricy. But I tend to put these down as an addition to his dry food (which he has a side bowl to wet), so I'd say there's a month's supply here. And while my cat loves Iams, it's obvious he prefers these (as does next door's cat, who mooches around hoping I'll keep giving her some on the side). Moreover, his coat is super silky and, given they've got no artificial gunk in them, I'd say that's a win-win all round.

Highly recommended, if you can afford them. And I will happily buy these on a semi-regular basis.
