Professor Rizzi's book is a lifeboat. There is a powerful fantasy being played out in the contemporary world that most people , especially those who have never studied the intellectual giants of the western world beginning with Plato, are falling prey to. It is a terrifying thing to behold if you can see it. This may sound like very strong terminology and even alarmist rhetoric, but it is not at all unrealistic to describe this phenomena that is nearly universal as a near madness. What do I mean by this?
