Introducing Autodesk Maya 2015: Autodesk Official &hellip by Dariush Derakhshani
It's a good introduction to all of Maya and has sections on modeling, animating, rendering and some parts on dynamic stuff like ncloth and physics. Because of the breadth of it though, it doesn't cover absolutely everything, and if you're more interested in one part of Maya than another you won't get the depth you crave.

I would recommend the book for a beginner to Maya. If you've used a previous version I think you will know most of this already and you'd be better looking at some online tutorials or videos on the new features.

I strongly advise people not to buy Warlock 2 in the sale.

This is a game I bought at launch at a price that was already quite a lot larger than Warlock 1 had been. I was already uneasy at the fact that they had 7 in game items which you could only get by buying the super mega edition, which cost even more than the collector's type edition with ebooks and rubbish like that which hardly anyone wants.

I asked somewhere about whether they might change the structure in the future so we could get the items on their own and some spokesman said it was a possibility. Also I thought with steam sales I could pick them up cheaper later.
