I have the 7" Samsung Galaxy TAB Android Tablet and while I am a fan of Android, this tablet used to crash (the usual "Force Close" message) on any and all apps and totally unpredictably, and I just had enough of it! At John Lewis at weekend I saw the brand new iPad (why not call it the iPad 3?) and the older iPad 2 side by side and the screen was noticeably better on the new iPad (apparently 4 x the pixel count?) and that one thing, really swung the choice for the new one instead of saving £60 getting the older version.

Bought this Radio in June 2009, along with the Remote, Extra Speaker and Charge-Pak.
Love the ability to use the radio out and about without plugged into mains. Looks very smart as well and the SnoozeHandle is very neat. Use the radio at the bedside and can just tap it to get the time without the display otherwise being on.
I mostly use the Internet Radio Feature of the unit more then FM or DAB and once setup, reception and sound quality is great.
The interface can be a bit weird and inconsistent on occasions and to get to the menu wanted sometiems seems to vary!

I agree with all the reviews posted before this one and their unanimous praise for this PVR. I will reiterate that this kit gives a sense of solidity and purpose that is sadly missing with a lot of electronic stuff, which seems to concentrate on flashing glitz and bling to impress (and usually fails!) I will add a couple of additional comments that have not been mentioned...... Recordings retain the description that the EPG gave, which is excellent, but even better, they also retain the original subtitles by default, so it is just like watching live.
