A Glengad man has written his second book of short stories for the 'underdogs' of society. Born and bred in Portaleen Hill, Seosamh O'hOchtain admits he knows a thing or two about poverty. The 64-year-old revealed that when he was a young boy growing up in Inishowen his family were poor and like many other families in the peninsula his struggled against the tide to survive. The 1950s were a tough time for many, especially since Inishowen people suffered a double whammy of poverty because they were cut off from the rest of the country and the North.
