5.0 out of 5 stars Delightful sequel, 14 April 2014
The second in the Pooch Parlour series, Dog Star sees the nine-year-old heroine still helping out at her aunt's grooming salon as she pursues her dream of working with animals in film and TV. The dream comes a step closer in this book as Abi befriends a film director's daughter and is invited to meet the canine stars of Snow White and the Seven Dogs. A very charming series of books.
V.I.P. (Very Important Pup) (Pooch Parlour) by Katy Cannon
5.0 out of 5 stars Simply gorgeous book, 14 April 2014
The first in a series of stories set in Pooch Parlour. Abi, our lucky nine-year-old heroine, gets to stay with her Aunt Tiffany over the holidays. Tiffany runs a grooming parlour for dogs of the rich and famous, and Abi and her dog Lulu help out. They have fun and get into scrapes involving a film star and her even more famous dog! A very charming book; the illustrations are lovely too.
