I suppose I'd have to describe myself as a Cure fan...I went to more of their gigs through the 1980's than I could count. Pornography was always one of my all-time favourite albums, despite one or two flaws I considered it had. Disintegration was also well thought of. I sat down to watch this dvd, lent to me by a friend, with an open mind...perhaps unsure whether the current version of The Cure should be playing a 1982 set of songs. I needn't have worried. This dvd is superb in the quality of it's sound and vision. And the band's performance? Breathtaking. I don't remember them playing the songs this well in the 1980's. Shame about Bloodflowers though.
