Kamikaze Gear Component Video Cable (Nintendo Wii/&hellip by Pebble Entertainment

2.0 out of 5 stars Not impressed., 5 Feb 2009
I bought this for our new wii.

The original scart cable gives a better picture.

Also there is visible distortion on the screen and no matter how much I fiddle with the cables it goes from really bad to bad.

The cables also are not very tight fitting in to the back of the tv and if you move the screen you have to check the cables haven't fallen out.

I'm buying a new one as I'm fed up with it.

I'm a big fan of Gear4 stuff - good sound at a good price.

However, I bought this to go with my daughters new 4g nano - AND IT DOESN'T SUPPORT CHARGING IT - it's an unsupported accessory apparently.

It charges the 3g ok.

I've emailed Gear4 in the hope there is some kind of workaround but I'm not happy as I've wasted my money on something that won't charge the IPod :-(

This software was originally bought for a 2 1/2 year old. Since then it has been enjoyed by children aged from 14 months to 5 years old. The younger ones enjoy "feeding the dog" and "hide and seek" as these only involve moving the mouse. Other activites involve clicking the mouse on an item or using the keyboard, which suits more 2 1/2 and up, depending on child. Highly recommended though, maybe more 'mouse movement only' activities could improve the product.
