25 Litre Plastic Water Container Food Grade by h32
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent product, 16 Aug 2014
Excellent product for the price. We paid nearly twice as much for the same product from a chain of farm suppliers! Note that the cap when first opened will 'break' the seal (like on a drinks bottle).
The Ship by C.S. Forester

This is the story of an afternoon in a ship at war. The ship in question is on convoy duty with vital supplies for Malta. It was written in 1943 and is a little on the patriotic side but is no worse for that. It is a sometimes tense story of what happens to a selection of the members of the crew and the unfortunate consequences of war (outside of the obvious).

I don't think it compares with 'The Cruel Sea' or 'The Caine Mutiny' for sea dramas, maybe because it's set over a much shorter time frame.

For example, on page 29 there is a demonstration of long division... the problem arises in the way it is set out (which in the traditional way) in that in part of the calculation, 57 is subtracted from 60 'to give us 3' but then the 3 is placed under the 6 and 5 rather than the 0 and 7. The next stage is described as 'moving down the spare 8 from 608' - I don't see the 8 as… Read more
