Phillips want these to RRP at £37 a light! At least Amazon's aggressive pricing brings this down to £22, but even at this price these lights simply aren't worth it. You're paying for a dimmable, low-energy, high-power light bulb from a brand-name manufacturer. If any of these 4 characteristics don't apply (especially the manufacturer bit) then you can definitely get these lightbulbs much cheaper elsewhere (ebay etc.).

I definitely made a mistake in going for the cool-white, it's just too stark for any use-case in the home (maybe for an office environment?), but I do see that they have a warm-white model (Philips GU10 50 WattRead more

I previously had a set of Devolo Powerline Adapters (devolo dLAN Highspeed II (HomePlug) Starter Kit - (2x plugs)). These were ethernet only and so I also needed a Sitecom router to extend my wireless signal to the front of the house. The set-up worked reasonably well, tricky to set-up but did the job and the speed was adequate (30Mb at the main router, turned into 5Mb for a laptop near the extended the router). However, I always thought that an upgrade could help the speed and so I decided to go for an upgrade. So glad I did!

Having worked setting the pricing strategies for selling products online I was drawn to this book to try and get the academic background and some new insights to back up my personal experiences.

At first, as I read through the opening chapters, I feared that the book would be basic and uninspiring. It uses a fictitious chocolate teapot company as the framework for its content and I found the style of these examples to patronising and completely unbelievable.
