Sod That for a Game of Soldiers by Mark Eyles-Thomas
Sod That for a Game of Soldiers by Mark Eyles-Thomas
This book is one man's story, and shows what it was really like for the Paras, who without proper equipment and transport, forced marched across the Falklands, then fought one of the bloodiest battles in the campaign.
It also shows the heartache of losing one's mates in battle, and demonstrates they will never be forgotten.
I recommend this book to all those who have served.
Kenwood Chef Major Titanium KM020 Kitchen Machine,&hellip by Kenwood
We have been using Kenwood Chefs for most of our married life, certainly for 50 years.
There has been good machines and poor machines, but the Major Titanium trumps them all. Its big, powerful and very quiet running.
We make our own bread, and we bought the Titanium Major so that we can make enough dough for 2 loaves at a time. This machine copes very adequately with this amount of dough, and so makes the dough rise beautifully.
The only downside of the machine is the dough hook is not as positive as it should be, and the lifting lever is fiddly. The old type press-in button is better.
Highly recommended.
Casio A164WA-1VES Men's Digital Bracelet Watch Casio
5.0 out of 5 stars Casio Digital Watch, 31 July 2011
I first bought a Casio Digital Watch in 1980, and used it until it fell apart from use 15 years later.
So it was no problem to purchase this identical model noticed when browsing the Amazon website.
Its brilliant as you don't need to adjust it monthly, it even knows when its leap year.
It keeps time to the minute, and has a stopwatch facility also.
For a low-cost watch, I would recommend this to anybody.
