The Fear Index by Robert Harris
Boring plot, dislikeable characters, implausable relationships but worst of all, poorly written. I have read and enjoyed several Robert Harris books but this was very poor indeed in comparison to the others and it was an effort to stick with it to the unsatisfying and dull end. Interestingly Ed Miliband named it as his favourite book of the year which made me wonder if he had even read it. If he had, well, enough said.

IMAX: Hubble [Blu-ray 3D + Blu-ray] [Region Free] Blu-ray ~ Toni Myers
A quite fantastic film best seen in 3d, preferably at an Imax. The images from the hubble in 3d are jaw dropping and the times and distances involved truly mind boggling. Great for the kids too as its not too long and they can get a child friendly introduction to science and astronomy.
