Super Mario 3D Land (Nintendo 3DS) by Nintendo

Super Mario 3D Land is a great piece of software. The 3D effect is nicely implemented, and the levels have been designed in a way to have the 3D enhance the platforming.

Graphically it's very close or on par with the Mario Galaxy titles. Colourful, bright and full of life. Which is what you would expect. I was very impressed when playing.

The game starts off very simple, it eases you in over the 8 basic worlds of levels, slowly increasing the difficulty as you progress. This is great for people new to the series, as they can become accustomed to the controls. In terms of gameplay, the levels are mostly obstacle course levels, with a mix of 3D roaming and 2D scrolling… Read more
Wrapstar Rage Graphic Skin for DS Lite (Ninetendo &hellip by Wrapstar
4.0 out of 5 stars Decent for the price., 29 May 2009
I bought this product to be able to distinguish between my ds and my brothers. Overall it is a decent skin, the adhesive is strong, but not to the point where you cannot take it off once it's on.

After I messed up the placement of the top screen sticker, I am now left with an unfixable pinch mark on the vinyl, where I tried to move it into place.

So to conclude, it's a decent decoration for your ds if you can get it on properly. Just be very careful and take your… Read more
Call of Duty: World at War (Wii) by Activision

When I heard the latest Call Of Duty was coming to the Wii I had high hopes for it. I thought I would give it a go since reviews were so good, and trailers got me interested.

Honestly? My only real issue with this game is the control system. I understand that it's a Wii and motion control is it's selling point, but why use it to look around? I find it awkward trying to use this, and while it's definitely responsive, I feel it is too responsive as it can sometimes just fly up when you intend to look left and so on.

This ruins the gameplay for me, as I'm trying to get used to the camera flying everywhere, a grenade blows me up. So I restart, and it all happens again… Read more
