This 'book' consists of 26 pages comprising a list of restaurants with no notes or editorial of any kind - something anyone could have put together at home in an hour. A serious disappointment - and to charge 6.65 for this pamphlet is breathtaking. The last page says 'Printed in Great Britian by, Ltd. Really surprised they want to put their name to this....

There is a show currently going around the UK entitled 'Admission: One Shilling', performed by Patricia Routledge and Piers Lane, which tells the story of how Myra Hess came to start the famous lunchtime concerts in London's National Gallery during the Second World War, and this wonderful set of recordings, stunningly remastered and beautifully packaged, makes a fitting companion to that marvellous piece. At six-and-a-half hours this set is superb value, and APR are to be congratulated on producing what must now be the definitive collection for anyone interested in this extraordinary performer.
