I really enjoy this bag. I've had it now for over two years, I use it for work daily, sometimes for photography, and even on holiday. I purchased it primarily because it was both a real photography bag and in addition a normal day to day backpack.

People would traditionally buy an unlocked phone via Amazon or similar because they want to use it on any network or abroad while travelling. I myself have previously purchased several unlocked Samsung phones including the original Note (1).
I pay MORE to buy an unlocked phone. Buying a phone this way is at least one third more expensive than buying it via a mobile operator and then being tied into a 12 or 24 months contract (which cost at least twice as much as GiffGaff, or other PayG offerings).

I needed internet on the move (laptop). My initial purchase was of a very highly recommended USB modem/dongle that was a catastrophic failure. The problem with dongles is that they depend almost completely on third party software and specialised drivers to function. Most of this software is just terrible and is rarely updated.
So after that waste of money (which you can read about in my other reviews), I got this. To me the main benefit of this is that it requires no special software at all and is inherently compatible with everything that supports basic WiFi (which is "everything" these days).
