Crucible (Star Wars (Del Rey)) by Troy Denning
4.0 out of 5 stars A good book!, 18 Dec 2013
Star wars Crucible is a great novel but has had underwhelming reviews. It is a great book. If you have read Fate of the Jedi and want to know what happened to Vestara Khai, get it! If you want to just read a good book, get it! The only criticism I have about this book is that it is fairly short but its still nearly constantly exiting.
Path of Destruction: A Novel of the Old Republic (&hellip by Drew Karpyshyn
Darth Bane path of destruction is an excellent novel, easily the greatest I have ever read. It tells the story of how a destitute minor born on the barren world of Apatros can rise through the ranks of the Sith and ultimately become the dark lord of the Sith himself. Lightsaber forms and sequences are explored more in this book than the entire film saga put together. The characters are all interesting and there is never a dull moment. I recommend this book to anyone whether they like star wars or not it is a truly fantastic read.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Real McCoy, 15 Jun 2011
No ghost writing here,a tale from the heart. This is Barry speaking. Painfully honest at times, genuinely funny, tragic,Young Ali, Dermot and Barry's father. Immensely readable. Those of us who followed his indeed cyclonic story are transported back in time, the opening chapter is mesmerising.I have collected boxing books for over forty years, and this is one of the best.Champion.
