Everyday Enlightenment: Seven Stories of Awakening by Sally Bongers
4 of 5 people found the following review helpful
this is a radical book which may offend many people; it teaches us that enlightenment is not uncommon, it is for us all and it is within reach. 112 pages of spun gold, but be careful: the world may not be ready to realise that we don't require religion or spirituality, so buy this book before they work out what it's actually saying and ban it for good.
In Over Our Heads: Mental Demands of Modern Life by Robert Kegan

5.0 out of 5 stars well worth buying, 25 April 2009
A few reviews for this book have suggested that it is a difficult read, but I disagree. Kegan's book is a welcome piece in the jigsaw that is becoming a large body of work devoted to the evoloving self and the resultant levels of awareness that this produces in (post)modern living. Well worth a good read.

5.0 out of 5 stars fantastic!, 25 April 2009
Emilie Simon's work has been compared to Kate Bush and Byork, but in my opinion she stands above these comparisons and in this CD proves it. Great songwriting, great lyrics, fantastic imagination and sheer sensuality. Can't wait for the next one. Check out her YouTube performaces!
