In My Own Words:
I'm a Christian who believes that God really loves us a lot and that Jesus Christ is the only way to know God, and the only way that human beings can be saved from hell and delivered from the power of sin is through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ's shed blood and His death and resurrection. Jesus Christ is the name above all names and every knee will bow to Him and confess that He is indeed the Lo… Read more

The Beach - Ost - Original Score ~ Angelo Badalamenti
The Beach - Ost - Original Score ~ Angelo Badalamenti
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Soundtrack., 13 May 2013
This is one of Badalamenti's best soundtracks in my opinion, a real cult classic, far superior to the pop album of 'The Beach' that was released.
This is uplifting and beautiful in places and also has a dark and mysterious side, I think this album best sums up Badalamenti's work and shows the whole of his scope very well, if you're a fan of this mans film music you will want this for sure.
10 out of 10.
Shostakovich: String Quartets ~ Dmitri Shostakovich
Shostakovich: String Quartets ~ Dmitri Shostakovich
The Sorrel Quartet play these incredible string quartets very well indeed, I have enjoyed each listen more and more and this is fast becoming my favourite recording of Shostakovich's quartets, I also have the 'Fitzwilliam' and the 'Rubio' sets both of which are excellent but this Sorrel set is conveyed with such power and emotion, it has the edge for me, if I had to list in order of preference then it would be

1: Sorrel
2: Fitzwilliam
3: Rubio

If you love these string quartets by the Russian master (and who couldn't after a serious listen)then I highly recommend this set and I believe it will be held in very high regard in the future.

These films are typical of today's mediocre 'entertainment' for children, they are full of inappropriate behaviour and ridiculous attitudes that you would not be happy to see your children acting out in real life. All the dialogue is way too fast for children to follow and they even put sexual innuendo in these films, for children?? why would a film company want to fill your children's heads with sexual innuendo??
There is something clearly wrong with these films because they only pretend to be for children but as I said before, all the dialogue is aimed at adults. There is a perverse streak that runs through these films.
Pathetic story lines and awful music make for a total waste… Read more
