The Country music industry baffles me how artist's such as Sturgill Simpson are overlooked. This guy is so much more talented than the like's of Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan. Sturgill Simpsons debut album is a throw back to the days when country music was country music! This album is absolutely fantastic, Sturgill has a great voice, writes his own songs and plays his own guitar. Would recommend to anyone that is a true country music fan and enjoy's the likes of James Hand, Jason Eady, Jamey Johnson and Dale Watson. Can't wait for Sturgill's next album, which is due out in May 2014 so not to long to go now. Cannot wait. Great music. Highly recommended.

What a find Jason Eady is! I came across Jason one day while browsing and listening to samples of different singers. This album from start to finish is brilliant. I would rank it alongside Jamey Johnsons "That Lonesome Song" and Sturgill Simpsons "High Top Mountain" as one of the best country albums I've heard. Very talented songwriter and the harmonies he shares in every song with his fiancee "Courtney Patton" are second to none. Like many genuine country singers now, Jason must… Read more

I've been a big Bruce Springsteen fan since I can remember my Dad sitting me down and getting me to listen to lyrics from "Blood Brothers" when I was about 8 years old. So 20 years later I still love the guy and I have my two young children listening to him too. So with the news that a new album was coming out I couldn't wait to get it. On first listening to the album a few tracks grabbed me straight away, obviously "American Skin (41 Shots)" although I think the live version is better. "High Hopes", "Dream Baby Dream", "Down in the Hole", "Just Like Fire Would", "Frankie Fell In Love" and "The Wall" are all brilliant songs with my favourite being "Down in The Hole". "Harrys Place" I'm not… Read more
